i liked the text i came up with, but the client was not into it.

i dumpstered some paper and i've been drawing on these large, glossy sheets some mornings with sharpie.

i drew this portrait of doug while we were talking. it was awkward but i had to do it. mainly i wanted to capture his mustache. amazing... we must have talked for more than ten hours that first day on the zephyr.

in the blizzard!

i was cozy in our apartment in the Logan Square area of Chicago when this blizzard blanketed the city in snow. i love seeing how people make their ways through the snow...

this is my contribution to the world of owl images. it may end up on t-shirts.

the surge of new energy towards my artwork led to the completion of this collection of drawings, which i began putting together shortly after arriving on orcas. i added drawings from before this period and drew some new ones to bring the number of drawings to a satisfying thirty. the previous collection 'FEEL HERE' had thirty-six drawings.

this zine was 'released' as a limited edition of 100 on the last day of my orcas art show. i'll be trying to sell some while in chicago but will still have some available once i return to the NW. 'FEEL HERE' is due for a re-printing, as i have but two copies left after putting 4 in portland's 'Together Gallery' on consignment.

orcas art show

this show that was on the walls of Enzo's cafe on orcas island for september-october was a big deal for me. since i moved out of Wild's Edge in september i have been re identifying as an artist and exploring new confidence in taking on paid projects. i don't do much drawing just for fun like i used to. many of these pieces are still available so contact me if you are interested in having one.
